As a Margaret River civil Marriage Celebrant Laurissa offers a young and fresh approach to your wedding ceremony and, with her background in psychology and theology, she can help couples through the stress of planning the wedding ceremony.
Laurissa aim’s to ensure that the couples enjoy the often abhorred planning stages of a wedding and can easily adapt to your needs, whether it be a five-minute or an hour-long ceremony, formal or informal. Laurissa also has an assistant who works with her to ensure each couple get as much attention as they deserve. After liaising with the couple Laurissa will support them in building the ceremony that suits them.

Laurissa offers a host of ideas and you are free to come up with your own suggestions or adapt some of her ideas into a tailor-made ceremony.
Whether you want an international flavour or something slightly left of centre, she will suggest plenty of practical ideas to match your thoughts on vows, locations, speeches
and ceremonies.

Laurissa provides the following for ceremonies where required:
- State of the art PA system, equipped with wireless microphones
- Table and white tablecloth for the signing of the register
LEGAL WEDDING REQUIREMENTS
A "Notice of Intended Marriage" form must be lodged with the celebrant a minimum of 32 days and a maximum of 18 months prior to the ceremony. This form is obtainable from Laurissa, who is also required to sight your birth certificate if you are born in Australia. If born outside Australia, passports from your birth country are required. If either party has been married in the past, a "Decree Absolute" form will need to be produced to provide evidence of dissolution.
